It is with deep regret that we announce the 49th annual Swiss Wine Festival will be canceled. After much discussion, the Board of Directors have decided to not go through with the 2020 festival due to COVID-19. We feel that the health and safety of our event participants and our community is our top priority, and we believe given the current situation, canceling the event, that is less than three months away, is the responsible thing to do. We know that our decision will have a huge impact on our community and the local organizations that depend on the festival each year, but we assure you we did not come to this decision lightly. We realize some states are considering lifting restrictions but in these uncertain times, there is not a guarantee that all restrictions will be lifted in time for our festival, August 27-30, 2020.
As a Board, we will take this time to reflect, and are confident we can deliver a world-class experience for the 2021 Swiss Wine Festival. We are eagerly looking forward to the Best Swiss Wine Festival to-date.
Be prepared to "Uncork the Fun" August 26-29, 2021.
